Creating a workplace of their own
Moving from co-working environments into a 48,000 sq ft London workplace marked an important step in Braze’s growth.
AIS began with an in-depth discovery process to understand how people worked, interacted and came together, translating those insights into a brief centred on choice, connection and experience.
The resulting workplace balances focused work, meetings and collaboration with hospitality-inspired social spaces. Bold colour and a varied mix of settings bring the energy of the Braze brand to life, centred around a multifunctional canteen and dining space at the heart of the office.
Designed around Braze’s people and culture, the new workplace gives the growing team an environment that feels distinctly theirs, with the flexibility to evolve alongside the business.

Turning brand into experience
Colour became a defining part of the design. During the discovery process, an initial nature-inspired concept evolved as the team recognised just how important colour was to Braze’s identity, creating an opportunity to bring the two ideas together.
Bold pinks, purples, blues and warmer tones bring energy and personality to the workplace, appearing across furniture, finishes and architectural details rather than relying on conventional branded graphics. Against these stronger moments, natural materials, planting and softer neutral tones create balance, introducing biophilic elements that make the environment feel warmer and more grounded. This contrast helps different spaces establish their own character. Vibrant collaborative and social areas encourage interaction, while quieter settings use a more restrained palette to support focus and retreat.
At the centre of the floorplate, the multifunctional canteen and dining area creates a hospitality-inspired social heart. Around it, open workspaces, meeting rooms, private booths, collaborative settings and a dedicated library give people a choice of environments throughout the day.
The result is playful without becoming overwhelming: a workplace where colour expresses Braze’s energy, while biophilia, texture and natural materials bring calm and warmth.
Choice built into every setting
Furniture plays an important role in giving Braze’s people choice over how and where they work, while reinforcing the more informal, hospitality-led character of the workplace.
Rather than relying on a uniform approach, the scheme combines settings for individual focus, collaboration, meetings and social interaction. Private booths provide space for calls and concentrated work, while relaxed seating and collaborative furniture create opportunities for more spontaneous interaction away from traditional desks.
Furniture is particularly important within the central canteen and dining area, helping the space shift between different uses throughout the day. It can support eating and socialising as well as informal meetings and individual work, making it an active part of the workplace rather than a space used only at lunchtime.
Across the wider office, colour, form and material choices connect the furniture back to the overall design language, helping create a workplace that feels cohesive, characterful and distinctly Braze.
A workplace with Braze at its heart
Braze’s London workplace gave the business something it had not previously had: a physical home shaped around its own identity. Bold brand expression, hospitality-inspired design and a wide choice of settings create an environment that supports both focused work and meaningful interaction. Central social spaces give people natural opportunities to come together, while quieter areas provide space to concentrate and step away.
The result is a vibrant, flexible workplace that brings the Braze brand to life and gives its people a stronger sense of connection to the business and each other.
